Where: Primorskiy, Russian Federation (46.6° N, 138.1° E: paleocoordinates 48.9° N, 134.2° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Priabonian (38.0 - 33.9 Ma)
• The age estimations vary as Eocene or Oligocene [Lopatina, 2004], Priabonian (the uppermost stage of Eocene) [Pavlyutkin, Petrenko, 2010], or the upper half of Eocene (M.A. Akhmetiev, personal communication, 2014). Zherikhin [1998] compared Svetlovodnaya with the famous Lagerstätten Bembridge Marls, the Isle of Wight in southern England, and Florissant in Colorado, USA, which are both considered currently as the latest Eocene.
