•The paleontological point of view, the bottom panel member and the base of the upper massive quartzites provided in rare deposits a very particular fauna and trilobites homalonolides dalmanitides (Hammann and Henry 1978; Hammann, 1983; Rábano, 1989a- c), brachiopods (Mélou 1975), conodonts (Sarmiento el al., 1995) and rare graptolites and molluscs.
