Taxonomic list

• BP/1/7275 also occurs in the uppermost Pristerognathus AZ in strata that yielded fossils of the dicynodonts Diictodon feliceps, Pristerodon mackayi and Endothiodon. Scylacosaurid and lycosuchid therocephalians – as well as a large gorgonopsian - were found within 30 m stratigraphically below the new specimen, and fragmentary pareiasaur remains were recovered from immediately above it.
