• Arnal et al 2019: For this section, a tuff layer has been dated in 16.88 ± 0.65 Ma (Cuitiño et al., 2016).

Environment/lithology: "floodplain"; lenticular, tabular, paleosol/pedogenic, silty sandstone

• Floodplain deposits with paleosols, Sheet flood – crevasse splay deposits and Fluvial channel deposits

• "This outcrop corresponds entirely to the SCF which lies horizontally, and is composed of 90 m of brown and greenish siltstone, sandstone and tuff beds. Fine- grained beds are tabular and sandstone deposits appear as lentic- ular bodies (Fig. 6)."
