Where: Kazakhstan (45.9° N, 80.6° E: paleocoordinates 46.3° N, 74.9° E)

• Fossil bones are concentrated at two levels within a 1.3 m thick interval -K1A and K1B - but details of which fossils are within which level are not provided, hence lumping of two levels into one collection

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; bentonitic, gray, green, sandy mudstone

• 1.3 m thick interval of light greenish gray to pale olive, sandy, bentonitic mudstone
