Environment/lithology: fluvial-deltaic; lithified, carbonaceous siltstone

• These sediments were deposited in a fluvial–deltaic setting with intermittent stratified water bodies, such as swamps and oxbow lakes.
• Interbedded, medium- to fine-grained sandstone and carbonaceous siltstone facies, which host abundant plant matter. The arthropods in this paper were preserved in association with abundant fossil leaf litter.
