Where: Sergipe, Brazil (10.3° S, 36.8° W: paleocoordinates 7.7° S, 3.6° W)

When: Feliz Deserto Formation, Berriasian to Berriasian (145.0 - 132.9 Ma)

• three fossiliferous layers

Environment/lithology: lacustrine deltaic; poorly lithified, fine-grained sandstone and lithified, fine-grained siltstone

• Its lithology basically encompasses layers of fine sandstones 30-50 cm high intercalated with fine siltstones no more than 10 cm thick. Three siltstone levels are each overlain by bone beds with many ganoid fish scales and other fragmentary bone remains.
