Environment/lithology: terrestrial; tuff

• environment interpreted as mesic, temperate climate with woodland having similar climate requirements as modern mixed mesophytic. Precipitation no less than 75cm.
• altered, tan, lime-cemented, clayey, vitric crystal tuff containing numerous glass shards of up to 0.5 mm diameter.
