When: Subbetic Basin Formation, Toarcian (182.7 - 174.1 Ma)

Environment/lithology: basinal (); lithified limestone

• The uppermost Pliensbachian–Lower Toarcian is ~29 m thick and consists of white-grey marly limestone and grey marl with abundant ammonites in the lower part, and reddish-grey marls with scarce belemnites and medium-sized concretions of barite in the top.
