Environment/lithology: terrestrial; sandy tuff

• sandstones, tuffs, tuffites, pelites and con- glomerates (see Dal Mol?ın 1998; Escosteguy et al. 2003; and references cited therein). This unit crops out in several localities in south-western Chubut and north- western Santa Cruz provinces, Argentina (e.g. Lago Blanco, R?ıoF?enix, Arroyo Chal?ıa, R?ıo Huemules, R?ıo Guenguel, Cerro Guenguel, Arroyo Pedregoso; Fig. 1) (see Gonz?alez Ruiz et al. 2017 for discussion on the
