• The plant bearing strata is near the top of the Yea Formation, and occurs immediately below the Rice Hill Sandstone member. It occurrs approx. 1700m below the Upper Plant Assemblage.

Environment/lithology: marine; gray claystone

• The strata bearing plants are thin brown to grey claystones.
