Environment/lithology: marine; volcaniclastic mudstone

• Immature coarse-grained wackes carrying graptolites and brachiopods.

•Turbidite dominated sedimentary deposits. The fossil-bearing deposits correspond to the Puna Turbidite Complex sensu Astini (2003).
