When: Humbu Formation (Peninj Group), Calabrian (1.8 - 0.8 Ma)
• ETE dating method: absolute, ETE age comment: Average mean=1.91-0.96 my 1964&1969 olivine basalt smpls radiometric intage_max, radiometric intage_min
•Was originally under Hubu Formation. Base of formation is about ~1.75Ma, the Main Tuff is ~1.19+/-0.03Ma. The top of the Peninj Group is about 1.01+/-0.03Ma, therefore, the upper dsands are ~1.2-1.1Ma (Deino et al. 2006)
