Environment/lithology: crevasse splay; concretionary, green, red, yellow, blue mudstone and paleosol/pedogenic, calcareous mudstone

• "an overbank or crevasse splay deposit...[in] a floodplain environment that experienced moderate pedogenic modification"
• "red, green, purple and yellowish smectitic mudstones with minor concretions encrusting many of the bones"

•"Here the vertebrate fossils occur in a 30 cm-thick red mudstone."
