• "Two lithologic divisions are recognized on Nelson River (Lower Member and Upper Member). Exact correlation with members at the type section is uncertain."

Environment/lithology: dolomitic, gray limestone

• Environmental call by T. Hanson.
• "At least 10 feet of conchoidally breaking, gray- to buff-weathering, light-yellowish-gray, microcrystalline, in places cryptocrystalline, dolomitic limestone. Organic detritus is rare or lacking. Lithologically it is similar to members No. 1 and 2 of the formation at the type section."
