Environment/lithology: marine; oncoidal, shelly/skeletal dolomite

• The associated biota suggests a BA 1-2 environment, as indicated by stromatolites and leperditiids. Occurs only in level bottom environments.
• "Associated with oolitic, oncolitic dolomite, laminar stromatolites and leperditid ostracode coquina...Occurs as 1 to 2.5 cm diamter, rounded algal oncolites."
