• "The unit is intimately associated laterally with, and perhaps partly in a vertical direction, with the Atrypoidea prunum gigas Comm., and is considered to be a quiet water, BA 2 unit."
• "Occurs on a siltstone (limestone and micrite) substrate as massive colonies aggregated into biostromes. Subcylindrical and columnal coeonstea occur betw. massive ones."
