Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; gray limestone

• "No signs of transportation, with over 80% of the shells articualted. BA 3, quiet water community. Smooth shells with thin valves suggest soft bottom, interreef area below wave base. "
• "Occurs in massive, light gray and yellowish pink, reef limestones in the lower part of the Petropavlovsk Formation."
