• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Grès d'Antully Formation, Anisian to Anisian (247.2 - 237.0 Ma)
• layers grouped informally as the "Grès inférieurs" (lower sandstones). Fossils occur in beds 4 and 6; the "lower sandstones" comprise beds 1-7 within the quarry sequence. These beds are in turn correlated with the middle and upper Muschelkalk.
• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: lagoonal; green, argillaceous sandstone and green, sandy claystone
Size class: macrofossils
Preservation: mold/impression, trace
Collected by G. Demathieu, L. Courel, J. de la Comble in 1962–1963
Collection methods: quarrying, surface (in situ),
• Tracks of Rotodactylus, Anchisauripus, Coelurosaurichnus, and Sphingopus are very common, but no tallies are given. Many hundreds of tracks are present at the quarry.
