When: Division B Member (Battle Mountain Formation), Podolskian to Podolskian (311.4 - 307.0 Ma)

• collected from Brill's Division B, Interval 155 of the Battle Mountain Formation. On the basis of invertebrate remains Brill considers the Battle Mountain to be of Lower Pennsylvannian (Des Moines) age....Above the "Walchia bed" (Interval 155) Brill found numerous invertebrate fossils indicative of early Pennsylvanian age.
