• 'PERD corresponds to 50cm of reddish brown, lens-shaped marly clay with abundant small molluscs, sandwiched between limestone beds.'

• Material stored in the collection of the Geologisch Instituut, Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht. A large collection of small mammals was recovered, plus some Hipparion teeth.
