• Between the Pliensbachian spiriferine-bearing strata and the "fossiliferous Dogger"

Environment/lithology: marginal marine; yellow, calcareous marl and red claystone

• Calcareous yellow marls layers interstratified with red clays. Both show well-preserved desiccation cracks (mud-cracks)
