• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; concretionary, gray, green mudstone

• General note from Stockley (1932): K6, Lower Bone Bed. Thick-bedded, coarse, gritty, current-bedded sandstone often containing reptilian bones, and marls or greenish and grey mudstones with several seams of nodular limestone, also frequently containing fossil bones. Also fossil wood (Dadoxylon).

•Stockley says that the sandstone forming the base was not found at B2, "the beds being faulted against the Kingori Sandstones."

•There is some dispute as to whether this is a true bone bed. Haughton says it should be called a bed bearing bones instead.
