According to Simpson (1948), type is MACN 10957, six scutes, heavily coated in manganese, and said to be from the Mustersan. This mode of preservation is typical of the Tinguirirican level at Gran Barranca (Carlini et al., 2010). Carlini et al. (2010) could not relocate the type in the MACN collection.
