• Forbes calls this bed 6, and calls the subunit the St. Helen's Sands, a naming that I'm not sure anyone else follows. Bed thickness is 3 ft.

Environment/lithology: concretionary, argillaceous, calcareous sandstone and white sandstone

• This bed is laminated white sands, indurated into quartzose flags above and below; the upper surface exhibiting strong current marks. The Osborne Beds are sandstone and clay beds with concretions and some interbedded marl.
