When: Heti Formation, Sharamurunian (48.6 - 37.2 Ma)

• the Hedi Formation is now known as the Heti Formation and is Sharamurunian (Beard and Wang 2004)

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; green, blue marl and gray, white sandstone

• Yuanqu basin
• Grayish-white huge sandstone layer, composed of feldspar and quarz.
