When: Yaw Series Group, Priabonian (38.0 - 33.9 Ma)

• Pilgrim says that the Yaw Series overlies the Pondaung Sandstone, as does a later article (Colbert, 1938) who gives the age of the Yaw "stage" as Priabonian, based on faunal correlations.

Environment/lithology: brown, yellow sandstone and red, white, yellow siliciclastic
