When: Nosoko Formation, Early/Lower Oligocene (33.9 - 28.4 Ma)

• From green tuff. The Nosoko Formation rest conformably on the Miyara Formation on the Yarabu Peninsula. Affinities of the Chlamys suggests an early Oligocene age, which the formation spans, although foram and coral evidence could suggst a late Eocene age.

Environment/lithology: coastal; green tuff

• From the base of a green tuff-breccia, which, in its lower part, is somewhat conglomeratic and contains calcaerous nodules.
