• local area-level geographic resolution

When: MN 9 to MN 9 (11.1 - 8.7 Ma)

• originally said to be Oligocene but actually "Vallesian, MN 9–10" (McNamara et al. 2009)

Environment/lithology: lacustrine; lithified mudstone

• obtained near sulfur mines, but figured specimen shows same preservation as other Libros specimens from lithified, laminated mudstones

Size class: macrofossils

Preservation: adpression, soft parts
