• From the Upper Otaio Limonitic member of the Waihao Greensand. Kaiatan in age (Late Eocene). Sediments, 3-4.5 m above cemented band.

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: deep-water; poorly lithified, glauconitic, green sandstone

• Offshore lower shelf to slope environments, 150-250 m based on autoecological analyses.
• Non-cemented, dingy-green to rusty brown glauconitic sandstone.
