• The Shaqra Group is composed of Arabian Shelf carbonate and contains terrigenous deposits. The group features 3 hiati: first of the Middle and Upper Bathonian, 2nd of the Lower Callovian and the base of the Middle Callovian and thirdly of the Lower Oxfordian between the Tuwaiq Mountain Limestone and the Hanifa Fm.
