Environment/lithology: fluvial; lenticular, bioturbated, gray siltstone and gray, calcareous marl

• "Silt, pale greenish-gray ; hard and vesicular inplaces, with one or more bands of rolled convretions, much pyritized carbonized wood". Above this is "marl, grey with coloured mottlings and irregular bands of large calcareous nodules in upper part"
