When: Red Bluff Tuff Formation (Kekerione Group), Waipawan (55.8 - 53.0 Ma)

• The Red Bluff Tuff is assigned an Late Teurian to early Waipawan local stage=Thanetian-Ypresian age based on biostratigraphy from combination of faunal groups. Most collections come from Waipawan portions of the unit, and therefore the collection is assigned a Waipawan age.
