• minimum age of the upper Mannum Formation is Longfordian, based on the presence of Operculina victoriensis at the base of this unit. The Upper Member of the Mannum Formation is overall no younger than Early Miocene.

Environment/lithology: marine; fine-grained mixed carbonate-siliciclastic sediments
