Digermul Peninsula, Upper Breivik Member (Cambrian of Norway)

Where: Norway (70.6° N, 28.2° E: paleocoordinates 46.1° S, 8.3° W)

• coordinate estimated from map

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Upper Member (Breivik Formation), Tommotian (525.5 - 521.0 Ma)

• Combined section from several localities, but fossil data for each horizon supposedly from one locality. Unclear if this collection is actually sepearate from previous one, or they are the same with unresolved age.

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: offshore; lithified siltstone

• Offshore shelf sediments deposited around storm wave base, silt dominated with thin heavily

•bioturbated sands. Sandstones are common at the top and bottom of this member. Bioturbation increases in intensity through time and reaches its acme in red-purple interbedded

•sands and silts at the very top. The ichnofabrics are dominated by Thalassinoides and Teichichnus ispp.

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: mold/impression
