• Immediately above the "Stewart Bed", middle of the Llajas Formation, "Domengine" stage, base of CP12b calcareous nannoplankton zone, lower Lutetian stage, Middle Eocene, C21r chron.

Environment/lithology: deep-water; argillaceous siltstone

• Listed as "outer shelf and slope" - as from base of unit, which appears to be highstand to regressive, the deeper-water environment is chosen for this collection.
• Sparsely fossiliferous muddy siltstone.
