• Riochican South American Land Mammal Age; Originally described as from the Koluel-Kaike Formation, but now assigned to the upper Las Flores Formation by Vera and Krause (2020) - possibly same level and locality as main site

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; sandstone

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: permineralized

• Specimens deposited at MLP include those collected by Ing. José Brandmayr in 1930, by Juan A. Pisano in 1961, and by W.D. Turnbull and M. McKenna in 1979. Additional specimens are deposited in Padua, Italy (those collected by E. Feruglio in the 1930s) and at the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia "San Juan Bosco" in Comodoro Rivadavia (those collected by by V. Escribano and M.S. April in the 1980s).
