• originally referred to as probably Paganzo III, equivalent to Talampaya Fm. (and therefore Middle Triassic). Has also been assigned to La Cantera Fm. (Cretaceous) in Bonaparte 1978.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; fine-grained, red sandstone
