• 11 ft thick shale, 11 ft above the base of the section; assigned to the Aucella mosquensis biozone; classified as "Lower Mbr" of the "lower shale-siltstone division" in Jeletzky (1958); Jeletzky (1958) assigns this unit an upper Tithonian age.
