When: Haraichi Formation (Tomioka Group), Tortonian (11.6 - 7.2 Ma)

• Hasegawa and Kimura (2008) place this at about 11.29 Ma based on ash dates.

•Kimura et al. (20006) state that this locality is approximately 11.5 Ma, which makes it late Serravalian.
