• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: slope; lithified limestone

• deeper parts of the reef slopes, usually below storm wave base
• thin layers, up to 0.1 m thick, of irregularly banded or nodular, grey or reddish cherry-weathering marly limestones as a part of an interbedded shaly-carbonate sequence that also contains rare brachiopod bioclastic limestone intercalations and black chert beds
