Environment/lithology: lagoonal or restricted shallow subtidal; lithified rudstone and poorly lithified, yellow claystone

• Cemented accumulations of desarticulate valves of bivalves, covered by clay. The author has identified this facies as a Rhaetian sea shore accumulation. Deposite conditions must be very calm.

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: recrystallized, replaced with calcite

Collection methods: surface (float),

• The sample is a limestone pavement about 27cm long, 18cm wide, transported by river.
