• same level as Lark Quarry

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: lacustrine; poorly lithified, paleosol/pedogenic, ferruginous, red sandstone and mudstone

• lacustrine origin. "Sandstones above and below the footprint bed probably resulted from periodic sheet-floods...Shrinkage of the lake had exposed extensive mud-flats marked with narrow run-off channels."
• "red arkosic sandstone...This friable sandstone overlies a weathered mudstone, and its lower surface is infiltrated by dark brown ironstone...Traces of plant rootlets."
