When: Ste. Genevieve Limestone Formation, Meramecian (345.0 - 336.0 Ma)
• "Precise correlation of rocks in VA with those of the Ste. Genevieve at its type locality is questionable." The unit is mapped between the oldest and youngest occurrence of the Ste. Genevieve guide fossil Platycrinus penicillus (which also happens not to be in the Sepkoski Compendium).
On Geolex page, Ste. Genevieve Limestone of VA was assigned as member of the Greenbrier Fm. by Nolde, 1994. The Greenbrier is assigned to the Meramecian - Chesterian age. thus I decided that the Ste. Genevieve Limestone here is probably Late Meramec (= Holkerian - Asbian).
