• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Agua Sst Mbr which regionally interfingers the Santos Shale of the lower (type) Temblor Fm (Late Oligocene-Middle Miocene). THICKNESS: Uknown thickness of collection or member. AGE: Early Miocene; Vaqueros molluscan stage. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From basal conglomerate.

Environment/lithology: coastal; lithified, sandy conglomerate

• ENVIRONMENT: Warm, shallow-water depositional environment - less than 20 fathoms and possibly much shallower.
