•Hindeodus is present in at least three distinct beds, but the stratigraphic occurrence of Lingula is not detailed

Environment/lithology: marl and marl

• entire section is mostly proximate "to a carbonate platform" but chert incalacations are from "a slightly deeper environment than platform"
• "thinly bedded [limestone], partly interbedded with thin marl"
