Where: British Columbia, Canada (59.5° N, 129.5° W: paleocoordinates 2.2° N, 77.7° W)

When: Bonnia-Olenellus trilobite zone, Rosella Formation, Dyeran (515.3 - 511.2 Ma)

• AGE: Waucoban; refined by A. Hendy (6/2009) on the basis of biostratigraphic data (= Bonnia-Olenellus zone).

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified limestone

• fossils are from a limestone bed 157.5 meters above the base of the section 96892 of the geological survey of canada and approximately 80 meters stratigraphically above the nevadella zone. very little fragmentation/abrasion of specimens showing they grew in the immediate vicinity of where they are preserved.

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Collection methods: Specimens in the collection have been micritized or dolomitized. Most of the specimens were found growing attatched to, or encrusting archaeocyathid skeletons. NOTE: The collection was originally collected by W.H. Fritz but analyzed by Kobluk.
