• http://dbforms.ga.gov.au/pls/www/geodx.strat_units.sch_full?wher=stratno=3624. Age and evidence: Fauna suggests a Middle Ordovician (latest Arenigian-Llanvirnian) age (Öpik and Gilbert-Tomlinson in Smith 1972, Shergold et al 1976). Lies conformable atop of Nora formation.

Environment/lithology: lithified, brown, red, sandy limestone and micaceous sandstone

• Shallow littoral marine in shoaling or barrier island setting (Shergold et al 1976); high-energy barrier with barrier island, flat and bay subfacies (Draper 1977).
• Fine-grained decalcified sandstone, white/yellow/orange/pinkish-brown. Dark reddish-brown staining; surface silicification
