Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; lithified, ooidal, shelly/skeletal, yellow, sandy limestone

• ENVIRONMENT: Sandy nature and presence of ooids suggest an open shallow subtidal environment.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Impure oolitic limestone, with a few fossils according to Plummer (1938). Sandy yellow limestone according to Gardner (1933). LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of figured specimens and facies description.
