When: Los Coyotes Member (Mural Formation), Albian (113.0 - 100.5 Ma)

• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Los Coyotes Member of the Mural Fm, which overlies gradationally the Cerro La Ceja Mbr, and is overlain by the Cerro La Ceja Mbr. AGE: Albian, on the basis of ammonite, bivalve, and foram biostratigraphy, and U/Pb zircon radiometric ages. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: List representative of entire member at this section.

• member-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: coastal; lithified, bioturbated, argillaceous wackestone and lithified, brown, gray, yellow shale

• ENVIRONMENT: Shallow platform where high-energy shoals, carbonate build-ups of corals and rudists were separated by shallow lagoonal environments
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Various lithologies, thin-thick bedded, bioturbated shaly wackestone with interbedded dark-gray shale that weathers yellowish brown. LITHIFICATION: Lithified, on the basis of figured specimens.
